Hi,

I have 2005 Mazda 6 2.3L

Problem is with car alarm. If i press remote, locks open always, but sometimes alarm is not going off (doesn't even make a sound or anything). Then i need to repeat everything from remote again and alarm is off too. Sometimes when i lock the doors from remote, doors lock on first try, but alarm is not going on (doesn't make any sound). I need to open and lock the doors again, then alarm will go on.


I've changed batteries on remote, disconnected battery to reset some settings...nothing. Can anyone help me? How to fix this?

Car has Cobra alarm system (if it helps). Can dirty locks affect car alarm but not locking the doors?


Many thanks who can help me...i'm just sick of closing and opening doors 2-3 times to get the alarm turned on.
