Default 3.0L V6 spark plug change

Well....78,000 miles on the wife's car and it's mis-firing. I think it's just the plugs as they are long overdue for a change (62.5K)

Got the front (3) swapped out in about 45 minutes....now the back (3)

It seems I have to remove the whole upper intake and numerous plugs/lines to get to the back (3) plugs.

Anyone else do this yourself before I start taking apart the top of the engine? I can see the Coil On Plugs right under the intake plenum, just can't get a wrench, etc in there.

Yes, the intake manifold does have to come off. When I did my plugs, it took about 45min to remove the manifold. Hope this link helps....http://forum.mazda6club.com/index.php?showtopic=61816

Thanks MT....big time saver. Now if it was above freezing outside right now I might feel like doing the last 3.
