2016 or 2017?
I thought I was set on getting the 2017 grand touring without premium package. But with incentives to buy the 2016, I'm considering a 2016 grand touring with tech package. MSRP is about the same on those two models. But I can get the 16 a couple thousand cheaper. I would lose the G vectoring, and get extra sound proofing they added to the 17. Does anyone know if anything other than those things that would be significant enough to you to go ahead and get the 17? I really appreciate everyone's help on all my questions so far.
The g-vecotoring sounds awesome though.
Still it looks like alot of things that were on addon packages like automatic city braking are now part of the trim, and anything that wasn't added to a trim was added to a single $1500 package like sunroof and bose stereo. If you can get a good deal on 2016 that is totally decked out then go for it, but you may still get more if you go with a 2017 without needing to find many special addons.

The dash screen is in a better place on the 2016 . i have the 2017.5 M6 and the newer ones the screen sticks up on the dash. i wish i would have gone one year back.
and right now its being assessed because the homelink new rimless mirror isn't working that the dealer installed, purchased from Mazda . Mazda is saying it's not compatible and i know i saw on here someone installed it in A-pillar with harness.
