Default 2015 Mazda6 Auto Trans capacity

Does anyone know if when you drain the auto transmission on a 2015 Mazda 6 how much fluid is drained? I want to change the fluid but at almost $16 a quart I only want to buy what I need.

A simple drain & refill will be about 4 litres. Although, that is about 1/3 of the total oil contained within the transmission.

I see you’re in the USA. I am, too. I’ve drained and re-filled my 2015’s ATF 3 or 4 times now. Assuming you do NOT remove the pan and replace the strainer, buying 4 quarts has always been enough and I have some left over. If you DO drop the pan and replace the strainer, buy another quart.
