2014 Mazda 6 Project
Hey, Guys. I'm new to Mazda...not really, my first Mazda was a 1987 323. It's been 17 years since that last Mazda, I guess I'm new to Mazda now.
I told myself that this will stay as stock as possible. I was going to lower it, but i decided to just enjoy the car...it's a week old. Tint and blacked out roof will be done today, I'll post pics later. So far, took off all emblems, blacked out front emblem, 5000K HID kit for the fog lights, K&N drop in air filter, 4" exhaust tips, 20" x 8.5" Niche M128 Targa in Anthrocite, Hankook 245/40/20 V12 tires.
I love this car.

Dark tint all around, ceramic clear tint on the windshield and moon roof, gloss black wrap up top. K&N filter dropped right in. Last will be LED lights and she's done...for now. The tips are 4" generic double wall stainless slash tips. Was $60 to cut stock tips close to the bend, weld taper, weld tips to stock.
Unfortunately, I decided to put the plates on...yes, the front ones. I drove my truck without a front plate for 7 years and it gets expensive. Even the meter maids give out no front plate tickets. I just don't want any reason to be pulled over and hassled for the tint, too.

Nice look!
They recommend a lighter tint on front door windows. However, with a sunroof (especially when open) it is less noticeable if yours are darker on side windows.
Like the pic with mazda white roof in background.
I like how it just flows from the roof to the rear window.
Tinting windows is a must for every car. It just looks a lot better.

H11 HID kit were installed yesterday and the colors match at 5000K. 43000K may be closer, but it would be lower than the headlights. I'll take the slight brighter 5000K.
Install was easy, it was taking the plastic skip plate that took long. Ballasts and bulbs dropped right in. Now, just waiting for full LED set up that I ordered yesterday to arrive. Taking those ugly amber halogen turn signals out along with full interior and plates.

No, my GT did not have the radar cruise control. It's nice to say that you have it but I knew that I would never use it. Saved some money and yes, it would mess up the infared. Maybe a light tint airbrushed on may be okay.

I also have a 2014 Mazda 6... How did you black out the emblem? I've got rims on order and window tint getting installed soon. Also suggestions for exhaust? Done anything else to yours? Not trying to copy but i will also lower mine...What size are your new rims?

Added a 7" visor dark tint. It was done in 2 peices to not disturb the sensors. I also went ahead and did the chrome trim in vinyl, I like it. I can always peel it off.
Here is my mod list:
Blacked out front emblem (primer, black gloss, clear coat)
Remove back emblem (I have black Evil M, but still 50/50 on putting it on)
LED interior, door, glove box, trunk, front turn in amber, rear turn in red, and back up.
H11 5000K HID kit for fog lights.
20" Niche Targa M129 wheels with Hankook V12 245/40/20 tires.
4" stainless steel double wall slash tips.
K&N drop in filter.
Black gloss vinyl roof.
Tint-12% all around with 2 piece 7" visor and clear ceramic windshield.
Chrome vinyl trim on fog light housing.
Next:
Spare tire light weight sub box and amp enclosure or spare tire locked compartment.
