We have a 2014 6 with the HID. However, one is completely shattered and won’t allow the car to pass safety inspection.

we cannot find a decent priced replacement so we were considering buying a conversion kit to install HALOGEN lights instead.

has anyone done this successfully?

the ballast and light of the shattered headlight actually still work but cannot find a replacement housing either.

anyone have any recommendations?

I know it will be a big difference having halogens over the HID but the cost to get a used or new HID and shipping to Hawaii is upwards of $1600
