Hello I'm new to the forum.
I was just wondering if maybe someone here could help me
I recently had a aftermarket sound system installed
And after the install the guy told me the airbag light came on (Drivers side)
because he started my car with the center stack out
He said there was nothing he could do to make it go off
and I would have to contact a mechanic to get it to turn off
I would really like to avoid contacting a mechanic since I know there is nothing wrong with my airbag itself that being said does anyone know a way to get it to turn off I've tried several ways I've seen online but to no avail it blinks once pauses then blinks 8 times consecutively. Thanks in advance for any tips advice or possible fixes!

 

You will need to get it scanned for DTC's.
