2008 Mazda 6 aftermarket parts?
Hello I am a new to this forum as of today but I think it looks like a great forum. I have a 2008 Mazda 6 Touring V6 model. I bought it brand new 3 months ago. I am trying to find different websites that offer aftermarket parts. I really want to get a little more horsepower out this beauty. I am trying to find a cold air intake to add some power. Does anyone know of any good aftermarket parts that would void the warranty that would be a decent quick fix. I want to add some decent sound without messing with the exhaust so I was thinking a cold air intake would do the trick? I am sorry if I sound like a rookie at this stuff but I am and I am trying to learn as much as I can. I love my 08 mazda 6. Also does anyone know how much horsepower/torque a cold air intake or a k & n air filter would produce?
my email is eastonjc@aol.com is anyone has any info to share

RE: 2008 Mazda 6 aftermarket parts?
The only aftermarket parts you can put on your car and not have the warranty voided are Mazdaspeed branded parts. The intake they use is made by AEM, and it sounds great, adds a little bit of power and smothes out the powerband a touch. There are other options out there that will yeild bigger power gains, but if the warranty is a big thing to you then Mazdaspeed is the way to go.
