Default 2006 Mazda 6 Fan/Module Issues

IMPORT DIRECT FAN ASSEMBLY

Greetings, Mazda brethren. This is my first Mazda and my first post. I recently bought a 2006 Mazda 6 with the V6 in great condition and it only had 64000 miles. It's a great car, but one of the radiator cooling fan motors went out. If I hit the motor with a screwdriver after starting the car it would spin until I turned the key off again. So, I checked a bunch of parts stores and Oriely Auto Parts was the only local store that had the entire assembly, with control module, in Stock. After installing it runs great, but too great. After turning off and removing the key the fans will run an additional 5 seconds to 2 minutes. I've driven it hard, easy, short trip, long trip, but there seems to be no logic regarding the length of cycle it runs post engine off. I've seen multiple posts regarding this subject, but since I already bought and installed a particular part, I'm hoping for some fresh ideas concerning my particular setup. This car is pretty different from what I'm used to driving, so I'll probably be on here from time to time. I have a lifetime warranty on this part, and it does not seem to be a fatal issue ATM, so I'm really hoping for some insight from you guys about this, so that I can make a decision about taking further action. Also, do you think that a factory Mazda Fan Control Module would be compatible with this fan assembly?
