It's not a fuse - all have been checked. All. Twice. (At least all of the fuses in fuse box under/left of the steering column and the fuses in the engine compartment)

Something went electrically wrong yesterday. The radio panel lights went blank. The trip odometer resets at each engine start and the gauges do not
"home" when the ignition is turned off.

I'm thinking computer problems (bcm and ecm?). Any ideas?

What's the battery & alternator condition?

Getting a code check will help pinpoint issues.

 

Scanner doesn't talk. The shop guy couldn't get a thing out of it. I'm back to the computer I think. Battery is fine (newer) and you can drive all night with hi-beams. Thanks for coming back.

 

Power side good, check grounds. Anything different between or happen between good car and failure?

 

yah know..... The radio has acted up for years. It would 'motor boat' and just about blow you out of the car. It took a good smack to quiet it. That could be ground. Yes, good suggestion. We'll pull the radio and tug at all the grounds.
