2005 mazda 6 first impression
okey guys i am in market for a new car
i am looking for a camry, accord , sonata or a mazda 6
ive driven camry, sonata and accords but mazda6 was my first experience that happened today when i took this 2.4 mazda6 for a test drive
the interior is much better looking then all the other cars
seats were kind of small not wide enough, but i dnt mind i am small myself anyway
anyway going towards the main point
when i started moving i cud hear the engine sound pretty loud
like not enough sound proofing maybe or there can be anything else wrong with the engine that i dnt know
also the steering kind of felt weird, too small for my hands.
when i wud press the brake peddle i felt some vibration, is this normal?
or it needs new routers
the car had 67k miles on it btw
is the loud noise comon or is this smthing i should be concerned about?
gear shifting was pretty smooth from first to 2nd but then it wud take time from 3rd to 4rth
also the sport shifting was not working.

2005 Mazda 6
Well, the vibration could mean that the wheels need to be balanced. Yes, the Mazda 6 does not have a lot of sound insulating materials. It could also be the quality of the tires. Some low profile tires and or cheap tires are quite loud. The road noise is just something that you will have to live with. I wouldn't worry about the vibration issue. The car is the best handling car in its class (economy family sedans) and will make you happy for some time. I have a 2005 Mazda 6 just like yours and I love it! Haven't had one thing go wrong with it. Just oil changes and new brakes.. It is a 2.3 liter btw... They only offer a 2.3 and a 3.0 V6 in the U.S. Does that help answer your question?
