Driving one day and car seemed to loose power, switched to manual and it was stuck in 3rd gear. When i stopped it would back to first then as soon as I took of it jumed to 3rd and power was lost and the low battery light came on. Please help, what should I do??

 

change the alternator.

 

Was it raininh when thsi happened, do you have a cold air intake, and did it go away when you turned the car off and then turned it back on only to come back again a short time later?
