04 Mazda 6 surging and power loss

The throttle body wire clip is attached to the throttle body, (after the air hose and before the intake manifold). It has a little red tab you push up then push a little tab (in the middle) in. And pull up.

Nope that didnt work. I did pull a code finally. U0073 no communication with the can system. Looks like a harness... The pcm just got replaced and the tcm must work becasue the transmission works. What is between the pcm and controls the firing order... Im noft sure whats wrong. My car almost starts. Help mazda 6s 2004 u0073 code can system no communication

Anyone know if this soltitary code u0073 really needs fixed or is it a ghost code from plugging in to the CAN system? Id like to fix my mazda 6. Anyone know what would cause a nostart condition?

it wasnt!!! Sucks so now what? Still cant pull codes but i may try again. I read on here to connect to the scaner then turn the key to on. So if not the pcm why is my can not running. I got spark gas air....even a new pcm that was completely pointless. The throttle clip cable? On the top of the block kinda? 4022698732 if anyone has a clue. Wish i could pull a damn code

i would say more like to lean of a gas/air mix to start. Its like the pump isnt pumping enough gas. I can start it and kinda run it if i pound the gas pedal quickly untill i grt the rpms over 4,000 then i can just hold my foot down and slowly let off but doesnt stay stedy enough to keep running. I ordered a new pump Assembly this is my last effort then to the shop. Found a pump thats compatible for $75 auto1.

Idk but if it’ll run with your foot on the pedal up to 4000 rpm then it should have enough fuel to idle. May be one of the sensors is bad. Good luck. Post up when you get resolved, I’d be interested to see what it ends up being. Another option is using a website like justanswer.com. I have had good luck using them, if you get a good tech they can talk you through diagnosis. You might consider getting one of those scanners to pull the codes.

Yeah surging i guess would be the word. I did get a bluetooth scanner. I got 1 code and freaked!! U0073 no connextion with CAN network. Last 2 times i tried i got no codes. I was thinking cps or another sensor, but i am having all symptoms of a clogged fuel filter. The pump works if i prime it a few times and start with foot floored then start mashing the gas pedal. (Warning can cause misfire) last few times i got her going it sounded a bit better. My car woilnt idle by its self, not very stable idle and when floored im not getting near proper gas to run the block.
