What do you like about you 5
Ok so I have seen lots of bad press re the tyre issue on the sport and the DPF issues.
However as I have posted before I am looking at a 1.8 TS2. Anyone with experience of this car and what do you think of it?
All experience welcome please.

I have not had a DPF issue (touch wood!) and I've had my 2.0D Sport since 07, although I do very little short distance runs in the car.
My tyres issue has been (seemingly) resolved (see my 1st post).
The car has been great to drive and own.
Points of the car I love are:
1) The slidy doors which are great for a family with small kids. Easy for me to reach in to help them, and for them to get in and out.
2) The standard tinted glass on the rear windows. Great for sleepy kids.
3) ISOFIX fittings for car seats.
4) The way the car drives so much better than any of the other MPVs I tested.
5) The extra 2 fold-up seats for the occasions I have needed extra seats.
6) The flat fold-down rear seats when I have needed to transport those super bulky items.
7) The standard fit multi-CD system which plays MP3s burnt onto CDRs.
8) I like the look of the car although some describe it as boring....
Points which have annoyed me so far:
1) Why is the middle rear seat so small? It's really a 6.5 seater.
2) Why is ACEA C1 oil so difficult to find and expensive?
3) Why is the digital service record not offered as an option but, instead, seemingly used by Mazda as a way to lock me into Mazda dealer servicing?

The look of the car. I think the sport model looks great.
The spec of the sport model. Having bluetooth phone built in, even if it is hit and miss sometimes!
BTW my Mazda dealer sells this car as a 6 seater, occasional 7, not a 7 seater

1. To me it feels very car like in it's steering response ( used to driving RAV4)
2. Gets great mileage
3. Love the dual sliding doors, great for kids
4. Optional manual (kind of) shifting with automatic trans
5. Simple body style
6. Very good crash test safety ratings
7. Somewhat unique, don't see many on the road
