Default tires for Mazda5

I need to replace one tire on my 2007 Mazda5. Been trying to go the used route but having trouble finding 205/50/17s. I just saw a post for four 205/45/17s (Michelin Pilots) off a 2006 Mazda Miata. The price is low enough that I would replace all my tires, but does anyone know if I would have issues if I ran 205/45/17s on a Mazda5?

Thanks in advance,
Jonas

Try and match the tyre. It's not good to have different sizes on one axle. Also the speed and load ratings are important. The original tyres are 93Y.

Try Continetal's ContiSport3. In my opinion better than the Dunlops. But here in the UK the temperature is too cold to get the best out of the Dunlops and also the Front geometry on the Mazda 5 Sport will bugger up the performance of any tyre. So go for the softest, grippiest tyre you can afford for safety alone (i ignore the durance, I want the grip). Also there is not alot of choice because of the size and loading restrictions you need 'extra load' for the tyre.

I've just replaced all four at 22500 miles for the first time. The inner edges were going and there was plenty left across the middle, but I should be grateful having got over 20000 miles. I've gone for Bridgestone Potenza RE050A which are asymetric and the correct load rating. First impressions.....they're so quiet. I'll monitor the wear.
