It's time again to eradicate that noise from my rear again by applying the copperslip to the spring loaded coupling that connects main exhaust to rear box/tail box. I must assume because of the recent wet weather and time since last applied as the 'twange' has happened a few times this last week or so. So once again I may half jack up the N/S rear to get right at the joint. If you have the noise, try it. Only use copperslip or nuclear grade grease (very high temperature). Especially if you can lever the joint with a small tyre lever or large screw driver you may here the twang too when doing this. That noise will go. This seems to be needed about twice a year as this will be my third application. See my picture in my last post here to know what I'm talking about.
