Stereo Instal for Mazda 5
Well, I have done it. Bought a new stereo & in-dash Sirius kit. Also just ordered a dash kit from Crutchfield. As soon as it arrives, I will be attempting to swap the stereo in my 5.
From what I can tell, this will be fairly straight forward, so that is good, fingers crossed! Doing the install myself is saving me around $150!!
The local shop wants $80 to instal the Sirius and then another $60 to instal the deck. The $80 is mostly just for running the antenna wire which is a joke, I can do that myself in far less than an hour, so I refuse to pay someone $80 for that alone!
Anyone out there have any tips for anything weird I may encounter? (2008 Mazda 5 GT)
