Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

We have a 1996 Mazda5 diesel (left hand drive), and have had a couple of problems with the reverse gear selection.

First problem: When the car was 3.5yo (approx), it was possible to select reverse without pushing down the stick - i.e. just move the stick across.
The was fixed approx 6 months ago and was fine for a while.

However, now it is becoming quite difficult to select reverse, and I'm assuming it's a similar problem.

So, has anybody else had (or heard of) similar problems? Or am I just unlucky,
