Default Replacing wishbone bush

When MOTd it was noted by an advisory, that both front lower wishbones rear rubber bushes were worn.
I can move the wheel if i prise the bush with a screwdriver !

How difficult a task is it to replace the bush, part seems readily avaliable about £24.
Does the metal inner slide off the wishbone shaft ok ?
car done 75k miles, are they a consumable part ?

Anyone done it already, that could advise, if it can be done insitu, or remove the whole wishbone ?

Thanks

Typically the whole wishbone has to be taken out. The it is placed into a shop press to get the old bush out and put the new one in.
In horribly difficult situations the old bush can be burnt out.

you have no idea how much self control it took to type "wishbone" instead of "control arm".
