rear shock removal !!
We have a 2010 mazda 5 and need to replace the rear shocks, however try as we might we are unable to remove the lower 17mm bolt . Does anyone have any recommendations? My husband has about given up on this repair as we thought the front ones were hard to replace at a total of 9 hours because we couldnt get them back up on the steering knuckle........But these rear ones weve already spent about 7 hours just trying to loosen the 17mm lower bolt and it refuses to budge even with an electric impact wrench. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

lol,the problem is that it is such a tight space .We are gonna give it another try this weekend though.I ordered some kroil oil and gonna try spraying the heck out of it on friday then try removing it saturday.will post an update once we try again ,this will be the 3 saturday in a row!!
Also yes the video is helpful we watched even before 1st attempt. Now im like ok so hammer, big hammer, huge hammer is hilarious because with all the frustration atlest you can hit stuff.
