Default Random no-start condition

Hello,

We're experiencing a frustrating situation.
Randomly, we cannot start the Mazda 5.
There is no start, and no crank. Lights and power windows work just fine.

First time, just attempting to start repeatedly and it started.

Second time, nothing could get it started. Had it towed to the shop... started fine at the shop the next day.

Third time, nothing could get it started. Left the car over night. Could not get it started. Towed to shop. After tapping on the starter, it started right a way. Diagnosis was bad starter... starter was replaced.

Fourth time (the very next day, and car had been stationary for only about 5 minutes since driving). Couldn't start it... rolled out of driveway and jump started it to get home... At home, car wouldn't start.
