No auto-off headlights on 2012 5 Touring??
We just got a new Touring and are disappointed that the lights don't turn off automatically. This is important to us for safety reasons when it's gray out (and I have a poor habit of leaving headlights on, requiring frequent and annoying jumpstarts, hence my concern). I'm hoping to rectify this for the 5 is an AWESOME car otherwise.
Yes, I'm aware of the audible tone if one leaves the headlights on...but we're deaf.
So...what am I missing? The link below indicates the auto-off feature IS standard...even on the Sport. To further clarify, I'm aware that the GT has auto on/off HIDs - the Touring comes with halogens that are (supposedly) auto-off only. Specs (see "Exterior" section) indicating the standard auto-off:

Thanks in advance for any insight!

Does your headlight switch have AUTO written on it? As in OFF->AUTO->Parking symbol->Headlight symbol? Go to page 5-51 to see what I mean https://www.mymazda.com/MusaWeb/pdf/...012_MZ5_OM.pdf and 5-52 for info.
