Need help!!!!!
I'm going to start from the beginning. April this year my husband replaced my oil cooling housing unit due to a small leak in the component where it connects to the radiator. Weve had to replace the gasket on this part 3 times already. Over heated 2 times after replacing it (my mechanic whom is my father in law, said it was normal becuase the fluids had to get around everything). Now to the fun part. 2 Friday's ago I was driving down the road and at a stop light I heard a noise (sound like it was coming from the unit) that sound like it was trying to pump. Light turned green. When I was at the next like my temp gage started to rise. (No white smoke) By the time I got home it was on the red. (Now the real fun part.) When i put in park my antifreeze reservoir overflowed with oil and antifreeze. There is nothing (antifreeze) on the oil dip stick or in the engine (pulled the oil plug and only oil came out). Machince (father in law) said its not a head gasket or cracked head. Has anyone ever had this problem with thier oil cooling unit????
