So glad I found this website!

I too was the proud owner of a 2006 Mazda 5 sport, until today. Now i am confused and disgruntled. Got a flat today, and on changing it notice the tyre had terrible wear on the inner edge. On taking it to the tyre place for a new one, was told that other front is as bad and one of the rear ones is wearing too. Couldn't believe it, it's booked in for its first service tomorrow!!!

Will go armed with the info from the forum to back up my case and demand money for the tyres, and see what they say about the problem and keep you updated.

Any of you thought about getting together and contacting the media - i.e Watchdog, Top Gear etc? Might help woth actually get to the bottom of the problem, Mazda seem to be wanting to hide, not even tellingtheir dealerships about the problems, lots of media notice will not be wanted and migh actually force a recall.

 

Sounds like a good idea.
Also, if all the disgruntled UK customers were to contact MMUK on the same day with the same problem They may be forced in to doing something.
