Mazda 5 Parking Brake Cables
I performed a brake replacement project on my 2010 Mazda 5 yesterday. Gotta love the salt here in Upstate NY. Initially, I thought that I only needed to replace rotors and pads. I purchased a nice set of black slotted and drilled rotors from Max Brakes on Amazon which is my second purchase from them. I used their parts on the front brakes last year, and guess what, no rust on them, wow! To get to the point, I had a seized caliper on the right rear, passenger side No matter how much PB blaster, WD40, and liquid wrench, and heating, I could not get the parking brake cable removed from the caliper So, I used by dykes to cut the parking brake cable. Now, I am trying to find a good source to purchase this cable. They are hard to find, with the exception of used on ebay. I could not find this cable on RockAuto. The part number is,
C236-44-410H
What part source would forum members recommend, other than the dealer?Thread
