i am having trouble sourcing a oxygen sensor for my Mazda 5 2007 model it's a 2 litre automatic .the issue is it's an import car and vin number is way different and all motor spares is asking for vin nr even mazda themselfs .....can anyone advise please I am new to the forum .any help will be highly appreciated.

 

Where was the car imported from? If its a Jap import, your local Mazda dealer will be able to email the original Japanese Vin number to Mazda Japan & they can look up the correct part. Sounds like your local dealership is just being lazy.

What is your chassis number?

 

My chassis nr is abit strange crew302646 that's it it's not 17 digits long

 

A friend told me that Mazda 02 sensor is a denso is this correct ....maybe I should try then what do you think
