Default mazda 5 antannae

Hi all,

Need to replace my entire antannae on my mazda 5. Backed it into a low garage door and broke it off. I think I need to access it through the roof liner, but am not overly comfortable just tearing into it.

Anyone done this, and can maybe give me some directions?

Thanks!

Jim

Mine snapped off after going through a carwash. That was a few years ago and it works fine without it.

I replace my 07 mzd5 antenna (base and mast). You need to take the plastic mold (the rear one). the lining just open, you have little room to undo the nut that hold the antenna base and unplug the cable. that is it, good luck.
