I'm almost embarrassed to post this, but I'm at my wits end. How do you change the rear wiper blade on a 2012? I would assume that you can move the arm away from the rear window (like every other car in the world) but every time I start to do so, it feels like I'm going to break the arm right off.

I do my own brakes, shocks/struts, etc but this stupid thing has me stumped.

 

At the base of the wiper blade arm is a plastic cover that easily snaps off, maybe that's the wrong wording, it's easily removed. The cover wraps around the base of the wiper arm. once the cover is off, the arm can be raised and the blade can be turned at a right angle to the rear glass to remove.
