Hi all I need some advice before I scrap my car. I have a UK 2011 1.6D 5 sport. I had a few occasions while accelerating a yellow cog light illuminate for a couple of seconds then limp mode.I replaced fuel filter as I壇 let the tank go low once. Everything seemed fine until the cog light but this time I got diesel knock. So I pulled the injectors ,ultrasonic cleaned them,refitted. Same issue. Pulled injectors again and I tested the solenoids and 2 were shot. Ordered 2 re manufactured ones,fitted a new battery as old one was shot. Cranked over and just not starting at all now. I had the AA come out and he was clueless. It痴 like I知 not getting fuel at all,getting no 12v feed at the in tank fuel pump plug. All fuses and relays tested and ok. Pulled what I thought was the low pressure pump in the tank but it痴 only a level sensor,so does the 5 use just the hp fuel pump at the engine? I知 getting rather stressed!!! Any help is appreciated.
