Howling when I take the foot of gas peddle

Howling when I take the foot of gas peddle

Hey
When I take my foot off the gas peddle I hear a howling from the front of the car.
If I put the car in neutral and take the foot off the gas I still have the noise.
If I put the car in neutral turn off the engine still have the noise.
As soon as I give it the gas the noise stops.
Any one have any ideas what is causing this?

Sounds to me like your car is haunted. Try getting an exorcist or something...

Seriously though, that is very bizarre - I have no idea at all, but am curious to hear what it is...
