how to remove sliding door panels and radio panel
Hi, new user here, glad to see a forum for the 5 with some actual traffic! I have a 2006 Mazda 5 touring, over 50k miles.
1. The pinned topic at the top that supposedly has the repair manual, for some reason, I can't get it. Does anyone have the repair manual? I haven't been able to find a Chiltons or Haynes, and the factory service manual is ridiculously expensive.
2. Both of my rear door locks are problematic. I believe I need to replace the door lock actuators (I can hear them trying to move, but they don't most of the time). How to I go about removing the interior rear door panels? I'm scared to try, I know Mazda (and maybe all manufacturers) tend to use cheap plastic clips to hold interior pieces on, I don't want to snap them. These are no longer covered under warranty.
3. I'd like to add a 3.5 input jack to the dash. I can't figure out how the heck the radio surround comes off. And, once again, I'm afraid to pry or pull for fear that whatever frail plastic bits are holding it on will snap.
Thanks for any help!
