Default Ground locations

HI - does anyone know where and/or how to access the ground in the luggage compartment.

The one for the reverse lights?

There is one on the left side behind the side panel about halfway up to the window about a third of the way forward of the wheel well. I am pretty sure there is one in the same position on the right side. You have to remove the panel from the back to get to them. I used the left one for backup sensors.

You have a Mazda5 not a CX-5, correct?
Start with the rubber molding around the lift gate opening. There are some screws hidden behind little covers for the optional cargo cover and One of two other spots. There are also several clips that will need to be popped.
