Gas mileage indicator on dash
Hi Guys, got a question in regards to the gas consumption indicator located in the center dash above the radio. the consumption numbers used to change every time you gave it gas or varied in the amount of peddle. Now the indicator reads 8.9 liters for 100 kilometers and does not change. It's been locked on this number for the past month. I asked a mechanic buddy of mine what might be preventing it from working right he was unsure but figures it's the ECU. My question is....What or where are the sensors that would feed the information to the ECU for processing of this information. Should I be looking at the air intake or is there a sensor in there????...so many questions. Thanks for taking the time read my post.
My '09 Fusion has a in-dash indicator that will display Miles to Empty when selected. I'm curious how this number is determined. Reason being... when I first purchased the car last July it would often read 400+ miles to empty after a fill up. I've noticed this number steadily decline over the past few months. Just a few minutes ago when I filled up it read 337. Seems like a Showbox jiofi.local.html tplinklogin rather significant difference.
