Default Front plate bracket? Any ideas?

I'm thinkin about changing the setup on the front plate. Any ideas? I'd like to completely remove it, but CA says I cant. Pics?

Unless you can have something molded into the existing nose piece I think your stuck with what you have now... aside from moving to a different state that is

Yeah. Cali is pretty strict on the subject.
But you might read through the rules on Cali's DOT site and see if you can find a loop hole? It's tedious research for any states DOT site, but sometimes there's a pay-off.
