Hi, I have a Mazda 5 2007 which as done just over 77k miles.

For the last year or so I have had a knocking coming from the front end, it passed its MOT fine and they couldn't find anything. I have taken the car to several garages including Mazda and had most parts changed.

Also other stuff I cannot remember and the problem persists. It's now knocking on full lock which is leading me to believe it's a steering wrack issue but I have had this checked and they are saying it's fine.

Any ideas ?

 

Have you checked the CV boots/joints? a bad joint will generally knock when turning and under power.... doesn't tend to do it when coasting and turning.
