Default DVD Player Problems

I bought my 2010 Mazda5 in the Summer of 2010. I got the GT with Satellite, DVD player, and Homelink. I think the only add-on we didn't get was navigation because we already owned a Garmin.

I am about to request my FOURTH DVD player. It is frustrating and time-consuming.

The DVD player will start to act "funny" with interruptions, jumbled screens of the movie, then blue and white screens, then ends up dying with the message BAD DISK (not matter what the disk).

After the first replacement, the didn't work with the new DVD player. I never got the new remote after asking repeatedly for over a month. Believe it or not, the DVD player broke again before they ever got me the remote (but that is a service department issue).

When it broke yesterday, it was about 100 degrees outside, but that is not always the case (as in the previous failures). Anyone else experincing this? I've only taken one long trip (it worked fine), but then broke afterwards.

I do use it many days of the week but maybe for only about 15 minutes at a time, so it is not from hours and hours of play.
