Exclamation Can i put a 2008 engine in a 2006 mazda 5 Please Help!!!

So i recently bought a Mazda 5 2006 without a engine.
After that i bought a 2008 Mazda 5 engine.

So can i put the 2008 engine in a 2006 Mazda 5?
Do i have to replace something?
I found 2 differences crankshaft sensor and
camshaft sensor.

On crankshaft sensor i can adjust

Is there a difference on the 2006 camshaft
and 2008 camshaft.

Did anyone put a new engine in a older car?

Please Help!!

Hmm... kind of seems like a question that should be asked before purchasing the engine...

...No idea on my part, but I did see a video a few years back where they tried to put a MazdaSpeed3 engine in a Mazda 5. That didn't go so well. But was still pretty cool
