Today I tried to change my seat adjustment to setting "2" and nothing happened. The seat can be adjusted manually. A couple days ago I came out to my 2020 CX-5 GT with 5,000 miles on it and the battery was dead (another mystery electronic defect in this car). Is it possible that the battery being dead deleted the seat memory? None of the other settings seem to have been affected.

 

I just answered my own question: The battery going dead does de-program the automatic seat adjustment. I was able to reprogram it now. So far I haven't found any other programming affected.
