Wow, that is brutal. I have had a few issues with mine, but nothign like that. My 2008 is now at almost exactly 100,000 kms (60,000 miles). Have had no problems outside of warranty. Following has been fixed under warranty:

1. Both rear shocks
2. Leak Detection Pump
3. Gas Cap
4. Front power windows needed adjustment
5. Dead headlight.

That is all.

I did have some tire wear on the inside of the front tires. Had an alignment and problem is yet to come back. Bought new tires. The tire wear was not an issue though till 90,000+ km's, and I think the tires were well past their useful life anyways. (thats a long ways for the stock garbage tires you get from Mazda).

Change the suspension and all four rotors to aftermarket.

Do a manual transmission fluid change.

Your tyre wear is from your rear tyres, they are worn on the front because of rotation. Change the rear alignment to reduce or eliminate the toe.

The wear on the alloy wheels themselves, weird problem but it's an appearance issue. Just get some silver spray paint if it's that bad.

Out of curiosity, what type of mileage do you get with the diesel engine?

Default falling apart

The good news is 40 to 45 mpg on a run

the bad new is the car is still under manufactures cover ! hence all is covered under its warentee including the wheels but the point is here in the UK the imported Mazda UK are doing a bad job of sorting its problems out and drag it's heals and are not very good at customer service My car has some fixable problems but they don't address the issues and wont give me my money back ! either 4 months in a garage is far too long! AND I WONT GO AWAY ! I JUST GET MORE PEDANTIC TILL THEY DO THEIR JOB PROPERLY OR REFUND ME !
