Keys falling to bits......

RE: Keys falling to bits......
Ours didn't want to know (said they had been dropped, Oooo like no one drops keys !!!)
I've seen 15 year old keys in better nick than our 1 year old Mazda ones !
A touch of super glue has at least contained the bits so it still works.
When they copied the VAG key design they shouldn't have used melted down coat hangers to make them

My key has stayed in one piece (I may regret saying that!), but the legends on the buttons are completely worn off so I'm forever unlocking it when I mean to lock it, and vice versa. The car's 15 months old.

Funilly enough, my Mazda 2 keys are fine - and both cars were bought within 2 months of each other.
