3rd roll seat problem

3rd roll seat problem
I have a 2007 mazda 5.
I put down one of my 3rd roll seat to make more room for my purchase groceries.
My problem is that the seat is now stuck and it doesn't come back up.
Has any one had this problem before and if so how was it fixed?
I have no warranty on this car anymore and I urgently need to have the extra set available for my kids.

Try pushing it down further. Never had the issue with the 5 but have seen some seats not go down all the way to come back up. Probably not the problem, but only thing I can think of other than taking the seat apart to look.

Hi,
I was looking at a 5 last week at the dealership. When the dealer was showing it to me. He had the same problem. Turned out that the carpeted cover over the tray that is over the spare tire was moved forward just a hair. You could not really see that it was out of place. But it was enough to keep the seat back from going up. Just make sure it is slid all the way to the back. Hope that helps. I hope to take delivery of a 5 this week.

Never had the problem, but I'd also suggest pulling the second row of seats more forward towards the driver and see if that helps. If nothing else, it gives you better access to the 3rd row, to explore what the issue is.
