Windows seem to roll down on their own
There are occasions when I go to my car in the garage and both front window are rolled down. I know I didn't roll them down.
Now tonight, my wife took the car to a store, came out of the store, both front windows were rolled down. Certainly not that way when she went into the store.
I assumed it was perhaps a case of other keys on my keychain touching something on the Mazda keyfob. Can someone verify what exactly causes the windows to roll down on their own?
Also, I witnessed the car lock itself when I was near it, but I was absolutely NOT pressing any buttons on the keyfob. A bit of "Christine"-like activity if you ask me.
Thanks

It's definately haunted...if it says something along the lines of "Hello Michael" and refers to itself as K.I.T.T. - take it back to the dealership...

once one of my remote keys went through the wash in a pair of my pants' pocket, and if i would take it anywhere within working distance of my 3s, the doors would unluck and lock sporadically...it was weird. but my windows have never opened themselves before. thats pretty strange.

I read the manual on the way to work this morning. If you press and hold the unlock button, everything will unlock, then the windows will roll down fully. I guess it's a feature to allow you to cool off your car on a hot day before you actually get to it.
I would actually prefer not to have that feature, as I consider it more of a security risk than a feature.
I can imagine that the unlock button may accidentally be held down while the keys are in my pocket, but its hard to believe that's happening in my wife's purse too (and you would think the panic alarm would be going off all the time as well, with it being that sensitive).

that must be a new feature for the 2006 models because my 2005 does not roll down the windows when you hold the unlock button... i just tried.
i think that would be a cool feature to have... wonder if i can get that done to my car!
