Will be moving to a new state in early Aug and am only shipping one car for my family. We were thinking of picking up a Mazda5 when we arrive but the 2013 model should arrive by end of Aug or early Sept. What do you all think - is it worth the wait? Looks like the details are pretty tight on it, which makes me think the Skyactiv engine might be in it (they wouldn't want to undercut current sales).

 

I hope you are right, but I'm afraid the mazda5 and CX-9 will not have skyactiv.. (the two models I am interested in)

I read somewhere that Mazda is playing down anything 2013 without skyactiv.. Since we know Mazda is more than happy to release press about the unavailable CX-5 skyactiv diesel, (hurting sales as people wait for it) I think we can assume Mazda would get the press out there if skyactiv was in the works for 2013 mazda5's and CX-9's. I'll wait for the 2013 models from Mazda and others before making my decision..
