2012 Mazda 5 Automatic Transmission
I just purchased this Mazda 5 great price nice vehicle except the 5 speed auto won't auto shift manual shift is fine I'm leaning toward a bad TCM. Has anyone experienced this failure?

Although not entirely absolute, if the TCM were bad you would not even be able to shift into any gears. You would and should have had or have an engine check light? The ECU and TCM work together. Normally if the TCM has problems the ECU will generate the engine check light and usually a DTC.
