I have a 2009 Mazda 5 Sport which needs a new compressor, etc. I'm looking on-line and one AC compressor kit with condenser, etc. says it is for a Mazda 5 "without a rear ventilator." Does it really matter for any Mazda 5 AC parts if you have a rear ventilator or not? Mazda dealers here don't even seem to know about this!

 

Check on rock auto. they list for with and without rear vent. The only difference may be the expansion valve that is included and about $10. Probably has to do with capacity needed for each setup. Some on there do not specify either way.
