Hi Guys,

I am new to forum and a new Mazda5 GT owner. I bought it used here in BC Canada and its almost reaching 99K. Its been a week since I been driving it now. I have a transmission and pickup question. I drove 1999 toyota Camry before I upgraded to this one and now I feel that the pick is not as good. For example when making a turn you slow the car down and then after merging you want to pick up the speed but I find it slow in shifting from 1 to 2. Is that normal? or it will take me some time to get used to this transmission?
I had inspection done from Mazda dealership before buying it and they didnt show any transmission concerns except that transmission oil was dark.
