Default 2006 many problems please help !

Hey folks I've owned my Mazda 5 for a year now never had a issue took me across 3 provinces and back,one day the wife went to town and all of a sudden the engine light came on quickly followed by brake light and loss of power steering,and abs light , only to get it home and find the speedometer no longer works... I have no clue where to even begin looking for a problem ...car still runs and drives any advice is greatly appreciated thanks in advance

Get the battery & alternator tested along with a diagnostic code check.

Haven't tried battery or alternator test but did get a code for lost communication with cluster ?....thinking it's about to get expensive will definately change battery and check alternator is good before assuming the worst
