I have just recently purchased a 2005 sport uk model of the mazda 5 and positioned under the gear stick there is a button Tm I have tried to press and the car starts ringing but not connecting to anything would love to know what this is and some info on how to use PLEASE !!!

 

I am guessing it has something to do with the hands free mobile option. The 2008 has the controls on the steering wheel, but no letters, just a pic of a phone. Do you have a cell phone that is either blue-tooth equipped and setup with the car, or some other hands free connection? The car probably tries to connect, but cant find your phone, so just rings and rings... just a rough guess...
