Default 07 mazda 5 wheel bearings.

I have an 07 Mazda 5. I was told that they 07 Ford Freestyle rear wheel bearings should fit. Is this true?

I don't think it would work. We had an 05 freestyle and still have a 2010 5. Totally different platforms. I looked at rock auto and there are no rear bearings listed just the hub assembly. The hub with a bearing is not that much more than just a bearing and you don't have to press anything in our out. The interchange on rock auto only lists the 5 and 3 as interchangeably. Not even the very similar focus is listed. The 5 rear suspension is from the Mazda CX-7 and not even it is listed.

Thank you for the insight.

Generally, if a part will fit multiple cars, you can look up the part on RockAuto, click on the part number, and it'll pop up an interchange list, e.g.:
FORD FIVE HUNDRED 2005-2007
FORD FREESTYLE 2005-2007
FORD TAURUS 2008-2009
FORD TAURUS X 2008-2009
MERCURY MONTEGO 2005-2007
MERCURY SABLE 2008-2009

RA only shows the rear hubs interchanging between 2004-2014 Mazda 3 and 2006-2015 Mazda 5.

The Freestyle also uses hub assemblies anyway, just like the 5, and they're not that much cheaper than the ones for the 5.
