i have a 2006 Mazda 5 manual trans. i just replaced the clutch, drivers side cv axle, and filled the trans up with 75w90 gear oil. i dumped it all over taking the trans out. i got it all back together, but now when i put it in mostly second and third gear the engine cuts out for a second then resumes running. the gages all reset, the car lurches like the engine died. this keeps happening until i can get it in fourth or fifth gear. some times it doesn't happen at all, other times i can't get up to speed, keeps stalling.
i have looked all over and cant find a solution for this. anyone have any questions or input?

 

Kind sounds like a vacuum hose leak. I would check all lines - not sure if you could do me than a visual like a test of something.
